Learning something new

So... I am completely new at this blog thing... My friend Joy reads a ton of them. I am not yet even sure who my target audience is... family, friends.... strangers?? I haven't even told anyone that I am doing this... so, then my only audience is me. Well... I am still trying to make this work. So. let's see if I can add a picture. Okay..Here is a picture of my daughter. Isn't she beautiful?? Let's see how this looks altogether and then I will have learned something new.

Today was a Monday

Today was a Monday- all day long. But..... I got to talk to my good friend Ann. I did manage to do some "good school" with the kids and we had marvelous chef salads for supper. We played a game afterwards with the kids. I now still have work- (don't we always) but I am thankful.

Loveandadoor

Well, I only have about a bazillion things I should be doing right now, but my sister-in-law has a blog where she posts beautiful pictures of her daughter. I was looking at the pictures and wanted to post a comment and here I am. The reason my blog is called Loveandadoor is this-- Someone told me that we can train our children to answer us however we choose. This, of course, doesn't always work but.. on occasion I have actually gotten some of my four to answer, "Yes Mom, who I love and adore." to which I promptly reply,"Yes, I think you are a door too." If you get that- then we will get along great! Now I must go back to the other bazillion things.
